Ricoh is acquiring Presentation Products in a push to expand the Japanese office products company's digital services portfolio.

The company said Wednesday that its purchase of Presentation Products, a New York-based audiovisual integrator, would bring a team of 100 specialists in AV, engineering, design, and technology integration into Ricoh's workforce.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Ricoh said the acquisition builds on the strengths of Cenero, its in-house AV services provider.

"PPI's strong reputation, deep technical expertise, and established presence in New York City, the largest AV market in North America, will immediately increase our ability to deliver integrated workplace solutions at scale," Bob Lamendola, chief digital services and delivery officer for Ricoh North America, said Wednesday.
