Usana Health Services Executive Chairman Kevin Guest is returning to the chief executive officer position.

Guest, who served as CEO of the multilevel marketer of nutritional and personal-care products for eight years before being named executive chairman in 2024, will return to his old role effective immediately, the company said Thursday. Guest will remain chairman as well, said Usana.

He succeeds Jim Brown, who stepped down as CEO and president of the Salt Lake City company. Usana didn't provide a reason for his departure. Brown will stay on in an advisory role for a period at the discretion of the board, the company said.

"As USANA enters its next phase, the board believes this transition will position the company to accelerate strategic priorities that meaningfully contribute to long-term growth opportunities," lead independent director Gilbert Fuller said.
