Rajesh Power Gets Letter of Intent to Set Up Standalone Battery Energy Storage System in Gujarat, India

Rajesh Power Services (BOM:544291) has received a letter of intent for a contract from the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam to set up a standalone battery energy storage system (BESS), according to a BSE filing on Monday.
The contract is for the development of a 65 MW/ 130 MWh BESS at Virpore in Gujarat, India, under a total project size of 2000 MW / 4000MWh BESS.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 18 months from the execution of the battery energy storage purchase agreement.
The company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
