BUZZ-US oilfield services companies gain as Wright announces Washington's intention to resume Venezuelan oil flows

** Shares of U.S. oilfield services gain premarket

** Brent crude futures LCOc1 up 0.1% at $60.77/ barrel

** Energy Secretary Chris Wright says U.S. government wants to get Venezuelan oil flowing again and create conditions for U.S. oil companies to enter the country

** Wright adds he was speaking to U.S. oil companies to learn what conditions would enable them to enter the South American country

** U.S. president Donald Trump said on Tuesday Caracas and Washington have reached a deal to export up to $2 billion worth of Venezuelan crude to the United States

** Trump said over the weekend U.S. would take control of Venezuela after U.S. forces ousted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro

** Oilfield services companies Halliburton HAL.N and SLB SLB.N up 1.6% and 1.1% respectively

** Baker Hughes BKR.O up 1.2%
