智通财经APP讯，中华燃气(08246)发布公告，董事会建议按公司已发行及未发行股本中每8股现有股份合并为1股合并股份的基准实施股份合并。于本公布日期，已发行47.38亿股现有股份，均已缴足或入账列作缴足。假设自本公布日期起至股东特别大会之日止不会发行额外股份，则股份合并生效后，将有5.92亿股缴足或入账列作缴足的已发行合并股份。公司的法定股本将维持在8000万港元，惟将分为80亿股每股面值0.01港元的合并股份。
于本公布日期，现有股份以每手买卖单位8000股现有股份在联交所买卖。受限于及待股份合并生效后，建议将在联交所买卖合并股份的每手买卖单位由 8000股现有股份更改为5000股合并股份。按于本公布日期联交所所报现有股份的收市价每股0.08港元计算，假设股份合并已告生效，每手5000股合并股份的理论价值将为3200港元(基于每股合并股份理论收市价0.64港元计算)。
