Talga Group (ASX:TLG) received a patent in Japan for the company's Graphite anode technology, "Anode Material and Method for Producing Same", according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The patent provides protection for the company's process for producing natural graphite anode along with exclusive rights until at least 2040, the filing said.
