HMC Capital's (ASX:HMC) Kentbruck Green Power Hub has received a green light from the Victorian state government after the Environment Effects Statement (EES) process, according to a Tuesday Government statement.
The statement said that the 600-megawatt wind farm will include up to 105 turbines and generate around 2,000 gigawatt hours of renewable energy each year, enough to power about 380,000 homes.
HMC Capital secured the wind farm as part of a AU$950 million acquisition made in December 2024.
The company's shares fell nearly 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
