BUZZ-Satellite imaging stocks gain as US uses space-based intelligence in recent operation
** Shares of satellite imagery and data firms Blacksky Technologies BKSY.N, Spire Global SPIR.N and SatellogicSATL.O up between 3.9% and 4.1% premarket
** On Saturday, General Raisen Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, credited the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) for its role in the intelligence build-up to Operation Absolute Resolve
** Caine said that U.S. Space Command used satellites to help clear a safe path and protect the teams during the mission
** The companies have secured a series of high-value contracts with agencies such as the NGA and Spacecom to provide advanced imagery, radio frequency data and AI-driven analytics
