1月5日，中国工商银行董事长廖林会见新韩金融集团董事长晋玉童，双方就全球宏观经济金融形势、深化业务合作等话题进行深入交流。中国工商银行副行长张伟武参加会见。
中国工商银行与新韩金融集团互为重要合作伙伴，在多个业务领域开展合作并取得丰硕成果，有力服务中韩经贸大局。双方将深入落实两国元首重要共识，充分利用金融多边合作平台相互赋能，发挥各自优势，深化人工智能、金融科技、股权投资、资本市场、跨境人民币等领域务实合作，助力拓展双边经贸合作新领域，共同推动中韩战略合作伙伴关系行稳致远，为地区经济发展作出更大贡献。
新韩金融集团是韩国领先的综合性金融集团，业务涵盖银行、证券、保险等多个领域。新韩金融集团为大韩商工会议所下设的金融产业委员会主席单位，晋玉童担任金融产业委员会会长。
