ChainCatcher 消息，ARK Invest 创始人 Cathie Wood 表示，美国政府未来可能开始直接购买比特币，用于充实国家比特币战略储备，而不仅仅依赖执法部门没收的资产。
Wood 在近期播出的《Bitcoin Brainstorm》播客中指出，尽管特朗普政府已通过行政命令设立国家比特币储备，但迄今为止储备来源仅限于没收所得的 BTC，尚未进行任何市场买入。最初的目标是持有 100 万枚比特币，所以我认为他们最终会开始买入。
她认为，特朗普在中期选举压力下仍将高度重视加密货币议题，这对比特币战略储备构成利好。一方面，特朗普及其家族在加密行业的利益不断加深；另一方面，加密社区在其赢得总统大选中发挥了重要作用。她说：“他不希望成为跛脚鸭总统，他希望还有一到两个富有成效的执政年份，而他把加密视为通往未来的路径。”
报道称，特朗普政府已签署多项行政命令，设立比特币储备和加密资产库存，并成立由 David Sacks 牵头的加密与 AI 工作组，推动包括 GENIUS Act（稳定币立法）在内的行业立法。
