路透1月12日 - 澳洲稀土矿商 VHM VHM.AX 周一表示，已终止与中国盛和资源 600392.SS 就 Goschen 稀土项目达成的承购协议，因交易的先决条件未获满足。
VHM 股价在早盘交易中最高上涨 12.1%，至 0.465 澳元，如果目前走势得以保持，将创下11 月 10 日以来最大单日涨幅。
VHM表示，随着中国以外买家的全球关键矿产需求不断增长，计划寻找更广泛的潜在买家。该公司称，已聘请Macquarie Capital牵头，就Goschen项目与承购方及潜在项目合作伙伴进行讨论。
Goschen项目是VHM的旗舰开发项目，重点是提取稀土元素和钛等关键矿物。
根据2024 年宣布的协议，盛和资源将在初始三年期限内，每年从Goschen 项目采购 6,400 公吨高价值稀土矿物精矿等产品。
VHM表示，Goschen项目计划在 2027 年末开始生产稀土和矿砂精矿，与盛和公司的承购协议终止后，该项目100% 的产品将面向市场销售。(完)
