Argosy Minerals (ASX:AGY) said Salta Electricity Distribution completed detailed engineering and feasibility works on the medium voltage line project for the development of energy infrastructure for the supply of up to 40 megawatts of energy to the firm's Rincon lithium project in Argentina, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

Salta Electricity's design and feasibility works confirmed the project's capacity to deliver a reliable 33 kilovolt power connection to the project from the Argentinian national power grid.

The next phase of the medium voltage line project consists of a competitive tender process to bid for the electric transmission line and associated transformer station construction.

Argosy added that it is engaging with renewable energy providers to establish power purchase agreements to ensure a sustainable and cost-efficient energy supply for the project.
