Dateline Resources (ASX:DTR) said it found gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its Colosseum gold and rare earth element project in California, US, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 295.6 meters at 1.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from the surface, and 105.2 meters at 1.2 g/t gold from the surface.
The company said that breccia pipe, a formation of broken rock fragments, remains open to the northeast, indicating further expansion potential.
The filing added that the magneto-telluric conductivity data aligns with the new intercepts.
The reverse circulation drilling reached a depth of about 300 meters, and diamond core drilling will continue testing the depth extent of the system, the company added.
The company's shares rose 9% in recent Monday trade.
