Koonenberry Gold (ASX:KNB) completed 15 drill holes for 1,864 meters in the first pass, wide-spaced, reverse circulation drilling at the Hand in Hand prospect, part of the Enmore gold project in New South Wales, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Around 11 of the 15 holes returned significant intersections, including 50 meters at 0.36 grams per tonne grade of gold from zero meters, as well as 46 meters at 0.28g/t grade of gold from 23 meters.
Additional drilling is required along strike, and deeper diamond drilling may also be required to target high-grade mineralisation at depth, the firm's Managing Director, Dan Power, said.
The diamond drilling program at the Sunnyside prospect restarted.
