Capital Environment (HKG:3989) said its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Xinjiang Tianfu, has entered into a new equipment procurement agreement with Capital Aihua Municipal & Environmental Engineering, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the firm were up over 1% in Friday morning trade.
Under the agreement, Xinjiang Tianfu will purchase wastewater monitoring equipment for 3.8 million yuan, following the completion of a competitive tender process.
The equipment will be used to fulfil delivery obligations under a previously announced wastewater treatment plant upgrading project in Xinjiang.
Capital Aihua is majority-owned by Beijing Capital Eco-Environment Protection, a controlling shareholder of Capital Environment, the filing said.
