摩根大通首席执行官杰米·戴蒙表示，该行将继续投入必要的资金，以避免在与Stripe、SoFi Technologies Inc．和嘉信理财等众多竞争对手的较量中落后。

　　“我们会分析他们在做什么、如何去做，以及我们如何保持领先，”戴蒙在公司公布第四季度业绩后与分析师的电话会议上表示，“我们一定会保持领先地位，老天保佑。我们不会仅仅为了达到某个支出目标而在10年后被问道，‘摩根大通是怎么被甩在后面的？’”

　　近年来，该银行的成本一直在攀升。2025年非利息支出总计近960亿美元，同比增长约4%，较2019年增长46%。该行预计今年将支出约1050亿美元。

　　“结果会证明一切，”戴蒙说，“但我们不会事无巨细、每个季度都公布细节。你们必须相信我。抱歉。”

　　摩根大通股价上个月暴跌，因负责该公司消费者和社区银行业务的Marianne Lake表示，该银行预计2026年的支出将高于分析师的预期。她列举的成本包括顾问激励性薪酬、产品营销、分支机构建设以及人工智能投资。
