Singapore's non-oil domestic exports or NODX, grew 6.1% year over year in December, moderating from a 11.1% increase in the previous month, according to data released by Enterprise Singapore on Friday.
Electronic NODX expanded by 24.9%, with ICs, PCs and PCBs contributing to the increase, the data showed. Non-electronics rose 11.1% on year during the month.
Non-oil re-exports or the NORX inched up by 0.8% year over year in December, following a 11.1% increase in the previous month.
Total trade increased by 15% year over year in December, following a 14.5% expansion in the previous month.
Total exports were up 12.3% in December, compared to an 8.7% rise in the previous month. Meanwhile, total imports rose by 14.2% after a 7.3% increase in the previous month.
