Beijing GeoEnviron Engineering & Technology (SHA:603588) won the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) general contract for the Jinzhou City food waste treatment project in China's Liaoning province.
The winning bid price was 71.5 million yuan, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The project involves building a treatment plant and establishing a collection and transport system for food waste and waste grease, with a construction period of 365 calendar days.
Shares of the environmental management system services provider closed 1% higher Thursday.
