0931 GMT - Pearson's performance update is reassuring, Citi analyst Ciaran Donnelly writes in a note. The London-listed education company continues to show sequential improvement in underlying revenue growth, he says. The acceleration in fourth quarter underlying sales growth points to solid momentum heading 2026, "with the small caveat the New Jersey contract loss", he adds. While the company hasn't provided specific guidance for 2026, it reiterated that the medium-term outlook remains unchanged. Focus will now shift to the full-year results and the 2026 guidance, he says. Shares are down 5.5% at 10.16 pounds.(najat.kantouar@wsj.com)
