HYBE Likely to Get Boost From Bigger-Than-Expected BTS World Tour -- Market Talk

0617 GMT - HYBE is expected to get an earnings boost from boy band group BTS's bigger-than-expected world tour, say analysts from both Nomura and Daiwa Capital. BTS is planning 79 shows in 34 cities across 23 countries during its 2026-2027 tour. Daiwa Capital analysts Joon Lee and Thomas Y. Kwon expect the South Korean entertainment company's sales from concerts and merchandise goods to rise 83% and 73%, respectively, in 2026, forecasting an 8.8-fold increase in operating profit. Meanwhile, Nomura analysts Angela Hong and Won Kang estimate the company's operating profit to surge 24% in 2026, noting that BTS has scheduled 44% of its tour dates in the lucrative North American and European markets.
