智通财经APP获悉，周五，锂矿概念股走低，截至发稿，Sigma Lithium(SGML.US)跌超9%，Lithium Americas(LAC.US)跌超5%，美国雅保(ALB.US)跌超6.5%。消息面上，巴西劳工部近日下令关闭Sigma Lithium位于米纳斯吉拉斯州的旗舰锂矿项目中三处废料堆，理由是其对工人及当地社区构成“严重且迫在眉睫的风险”。该锂矿为巴西规模最大的项目，年产能约27万吨锂精矿，自去年10月起一直停产，复产进展屡受阻碍。
Sigma在声明中否认存在安全隐患，称被封闭的废料堆仅为土壤，不含污染物，相关限制不会影响其整体运营及复产计划。不过，劳工部指出，废料堆一旦坍塌，可能掩埋附近住宅或流入皮奥伊河，风险依然存在。
由于复产时间缺乏明确性，美国银行上周下调Sigma Lithium评级。劳工部还驳回了Sigma解除封闭令的申诉，要求其提交整改文件以证明相关问题已被解决。
