1059 GMT - It is important to stay calm and carefully assess the implications of President Trump's latest threat to impose tariffs on eight European countries before making any decisions, Commerzbank Chief Executive Bettina Orlopp tells CNBC at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Focus should be on growth given the stable economic conditions and on delivering on gross domestic product outlooks, she says. Germany's GDP is set to grow 0.9% in 2026. "I think we should work with that. We should start with that. And then hopefully things will become clearer in the coming weeks," she adds. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
