路透1月19日 - 叙利亚石油公司负责人优素福-凯布拉维（Youssef Qeblawi）周一表示，石油巨头壳牌石油公司SHEL.L已要求撤出奥马尔油田，并将其份额转让给叙利亚国有运营商。

凯布拉维在奥马尔发表讲话时说，叙利亚仍在与壳牌谈判财务结算条款，以获得该油田的全部所有权。
