Stoneweg Europe Stapled Trust's Active Portfolio Management Could Support Valuation -- Market Talk

0905 GMT - Stoneweg Europe Stapled Trust's active portfolio management and pivot to higher growth sectors will support its portfolio quality and valuation, say S&P Global Ratings analysts in a note. Stoneweg's strategy to increase its exposure to logistics and industrial and data-center assets to about 70% of its portfolio by 2027 is likely to support more stable valuations, as it reduces its risk to office assets in markets with weaker sentiment. The logistics and industrial portfolio is likely to gain from still healthy supply-demand dynamics despite slowing tenant needs from easing e-commerce growth, say the analysts. The trust will likely stick with its financial policy of maintaining net gearing--ratio of net debt to total assets--at 35%-40%, S&P Global Ratings adds. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
