VRX Silica Secures Six Offtake Contracts in December 2025 Quarter; Shares Down 4%

VRX Silica (ASX:VRX) secured six binding offtake contracts for the supply of silica sand from its Arrowsmith North project in Western Australia during the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The contracts involve the supply of about 960,000 tonnes per annum of high-quality silica sand products to customers supplying the foundry and glassmaking industries in South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines and China, the filing said.
The company intends to ramp up production at the project to more than 2 million tonnes per annum from nearly 1 million tonnes per annum of initial production rate, per the filing.
Shares fell past 4% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
