Conduent named Board Chair Harsha Agadi as its new chief executive.

Agadi succeeds Cliff Skelton, who will step down after nearly six years in the role.

Agadi was named board chair in August 2025. He joined Conduent's board earlier that year and previously led its audit committee.

He has held senior executive positions at several companies, including serving as chief executive of six companies in the past 25 years, Conduent said. He was most recently chief executive of GHS Holdings, where he currently serves as chair.

As part of the transition, Agadi will step down as Conduent's board chair. Margarita Paláu-Hernández has been appointed independent chair of the board.

Paláu-Hernández is founder and chief executive of Hernández Ventures, a private business and real estate company. She joined Condent's board in 2019 and is also on the board of Icahn Enterprises.
