Prudential (SGX:K6S, HKG:2378) bought back 339,750 shares in London on Wednesday at an average price of around 11.6798 pounds sterling apiece, according to a Thursday Singapore bourse filing.
The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares.
Following the repurchase, the firm will have nearly 2.54 billion shares in issue.
