Valero Energy Raises Quarterly Dividend by 6.2% to $1.20

Valero Energy's board has raised the company's quarterly dividend by 6.2%, to $1.20 from $1.13.

The new payout, equal to $4.80 a year, represents an annual yield of 2.57% based on Thursday's closing price of $186.89, up from 2.42%.

The San Antonio, Texas, maker of transportation fuels and petrochemical products said the increased dividend is payable on March 9 to shareholders of record Feb. 5.
