** TFC posts Q4 net income of $1.35 billion, below analysts' estimates of $1.40 billion - data compiled by LSEG

** Reports Q4 revenue of $5.25 billion, missing estimates of $5.32 billion

** Says fee income slipped slightly QoQ, while expenses rose on legal and severance charges, offsetting modest growth

** As of last close, TFC was up 3.1% over the past year
