该产品是美国首只获得 SEC 正式批准的现货狗狗币 ETF，允许零售及机构投资者通过传统经纪账户接触狗狗币。21Shares 总裁表示，该 ETF 主要目标客户为年轻、富有的主流投资者。这是继 Bitwise 和 Grayscale 推出产品之后，第三只进入美国市场的现货 DOGE ETF。
