Auckland International Airport's Total Passenger Movements Rise 2% in December 2025

Auckland International Airport (NZE:AIA, ASX:AIA) recorded 1.8 million passenger movements in December 2025, up 2% year on year, according to a Thursday filing with the New Zealand and Australian bourses.

Total passenger movements for the financial year to date reached 9.6 million in December 2025, marking a 2% year-on-year increase, per the filing.

Total international passenger movements rose 4% to 1.1 million, the filing added.

Excluding transits, international passenger movements increased by 4%. International seat capacity grew 2%, resulting in average load factors of 86%, a 1.1 percentage-point increase year on year, the company said.

Domestic passenger movements remained flat at 744,896.

The company's New Zealand shares were up 1% in recent Thursday trade.
