Genesis Energy (NZE:GNE, ASX:GNE) reported total retail electricity sales of 1,455 gigawatt-hours (GWh) for the fiscal second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The company recorded total retail electricity sales of 1,433 GWh for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, the filing said.
The company's retail customers fell to 495,706 in the quarter from 516,312 a year earlier, and wholesale electricity sales declined year over year to 839 GWh from1,004 GWh, the filing added.
The company raised its fiscal 2026 guidance for normalized earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization, and fees to a range of AU$490 million to AU$520 million from its previous forecast of AU$455 million to AU$485 million.
Genesis Energy's New Zealand shares were up over 1% in recent Thursday trade.
