Gateway Mining Finds New Gold Mineralization at Western Australia Target; Shares Up 4%

Gateway Mining (ASX:GML) found a new gold mineralization zone at the Haflinger target, within its Yandal project in Western Australia, following recent air-core drilling, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The discovery returned 52 meters at 1.4 grams per tonne grade of gold from 64 meters, including 12 meters at 3.1 g/t grade of gold, the filing said.

Air-core drilling will resume in the coming days to focus on infill drilling along the Haflinger trend, per the filing.

Shares rose more than 4% in afternoon trade on Thursday.
