PMET Resources (ASX:PMT) found wide and high-grade lithium at the Vega zone within its Shaakichiuwaanaan property in Canada following infill drilling, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results include 55 meters at 2.58% lithium oxide, including nearly 30 meters at 4.11% lithium oxide, and nearly 25 meters at 4% lithium oxide, including 7 meters at 6.04% lithium oxide, the filing said.
Additionally, the company discovered a new high-grade and near-surface lithium-tantalum zone, now called Helios, at the CV13 pegmatite, with assays returning 8.8 meters at 2.97% lithium oxide, including 5.4 meters at 4.60% lithium oxide, and 6.4 meters at 2.61% lithium oxide, including 4.1 meters at 3.94% lithium oxide.
Core assay results for cesium are pending for 9,771 meters at the CV13 pegmatite, per the filing.
