Metal Powder Works (ASX:MPW) said that its technology team will commission and bring into service the NextGen platform within the year, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company will be able to increase capacity by 100 metric tonnes per unit with the commissioning of the machine, the filing said.
Shares of the company fell 4% on market close.
