Greatland Resources Says Fortescue Chairman, Related Entities Hold Over 18% Stake in Firm

Greatland Resources (ASX:GGP) said that the stake of Andrew Forrest, the executive chairman of Fortescue (ASX:FMG), his former spouse, Nicola Forrest, Wyloo Consolidated Investments, and Tattarang, as the trustee for The Peepingee Trust, in the firm came in at 18.13%, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
They took up 66.7 million shares in Greatland for a consideration of over AU$200 million as a result of the exercise of a call option by Wyloo under a Sept. 10, 2024, call option deed between Wyloo and Newmont (ASX:NEM).
