ChainCatcher 消息，据 Cointelegraph 报道，澳大利亚联邦法院裁定金融服务公司 BPS Financial 需支付 1400 万澳元（约合 930 万美元）罚款，因其在推广和运营 Qoin Wallet 产品时存在违规行为。其中约 130 万美元针对其无牌照运营金融业务，800 万美元针对其作出误导性和欺骗性陈述。
澳大利亚证券和投资委员会（ASIC）指控 BPS 在 2020 年 1 月至 2023 年中期间，在未持有澳大利亚金融服务牌照的情况下发行该产品并提供金融建议，违反了《公司法》。法院认定该公司高层参与其中，且合规体系存在缺陷，构成了“严重且非法的行为”。除罚款外，BPS 还被禁止在未来 10 年内无牌运营金融业务，并需在 Qoin Wallet 应用和网站发布法院要求的公告，同时承担 ASIC 大部分诉讼费用。
