Santana Minerals Says Submitted FTA Approval Remaining to Start Construction at South Island Project; Shares Rise 6%

Santana Minerals (NZE:SMI) said the remaining primary approval needed to start construction at the Bendigo-Ophir gold project is consent for the company's submitted Fast-track Approvals Act application, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company expects to receive full mine consents mid-year, the filing said.
Shares of the company rose 6% in recent Tuesday trade.
