First BanCorp (Puerto Rico) Raises Quarterly Dividend by 11%

First BanCorp (Puerto Rico)'s board has raised the bank holding company's quarterly dividend by 11%, to 20 cents from 18 cents.

The new payout, equal to 80 cents a year, represents an annual yield of about 3.87% based on Friday's closing price of $20.66, up from 3.48%.

The San Juan, Puerto Rico, company on Monday said the increased dividend is payable March 13 to shareholders of record Feb. 26.
