BlackRock TCP Capital Estimates Q4 Net Asset Value Decline; Shares Fall

BlackRock TCP Capital (TCPC) preliminarily estimates net asset value per share of $7.05 to $7.09 as of Dec. 31, representing a roughly 19% decline from $8.71 at the end of the previous quarter, according to a Friday filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

According to the filing, net investment income per share is expected to range from $0.24 to $0.26 for the quarter, including about 10.9% from payment-in-kind income.

The company will report its final fourth-quarter and full-year results on Feb. 27, it added.

Shares of BlackRock TCP Capital were down more than 13% in recent trading Monday.
