Queensland Pacific Metals (ASX:QPM) executed a connection project delivery agreement with Powerlink Queensland to facilitate the connection of the 112-megawatt Isaac power station to Powerlink's Moranbah substation, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The connection project delivery agreement also includes Powerlink's standard generator connection and access agreement with a 30-year term, as well as annual connection charges in line with Queensland Pacific's feasibility study assumptions.
A final generator connection and access agreement will be executed once technical performance standards have been agreed upon by both Powerlink and the Australian Energy Market Operator, and Powerlink has issued an offer to connect, in accordance with the National Electricity rules.
