CIMC Vehicles Group (SHE:301039) said the U.S. International Trade Commission is expected to issue a preliminary determination on the countervailing and anti-dumping duty on van-type trailer trucks on Feb. 17, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Monday.
The duty, which is still being investigated, will cover van-type trailers and assemblies coming from Mexico, Canada and China.
The Chinese truck trailer manufacturer said it is participating in the probe through its U.S. subsidiary, Vanguard Global Trailer.
The U.S. Department of Commerce is expected to issue a preliminary countervailing duty determination on March 27 and a preliminary anti-dumping determination on June 10.
The company's shares jumped 3% during the morning trade.
