消息面上，1月20日，TCL电子与索尼签署战略合作意向备忘录：拟设立一家承接索尼家庭娱乐业务的合资公司，合资公司将由TCL持股51%及索尼持股49%。新公司将在全球范围内开展包括电视机和家庭音响等产品在内的，从产品开发、设计、制造、销售、物流到客户服务的一体化业务运营
银河证券发布研报称，此次成立合资公司，一方面，将明显提升TCL电子的收入规模；另一方面，借鉴海信成功整合东芝彩电业务并盈利，该行预计，未来合资公司借助TCL彩电的全球化规模、供应链、成本优势，同时保留索尼的“Sony”、“Bravia”品牌与核心技术，将明显提升合资公司的盈利能力。
