CGI Says U.S. Government Shutdown Hit its Business, Bookings in F1Q -- Market Talk

1057 ET - CGI says F1Q bookings were pressured by the U.S. government shutdown, noting that the environment remains highly fluid. The Canadian IT-services firm tells investors on a call the shutdown weighed on its U.S. federal business and pulled bookings lower. But CFO Steve Perron says that "the timing and related impacts were in line with what we communicated last quarter." He adds that "our U.S. federal segment is still operating in a very dynamic environment." (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
