Rheinmetall, OHB in Talks to Launch Starlink-Rival Internet Service, FT Says, Citing Sources

--Defense company Rheinmetall and satellite maker OHB are in discussions about making a joint bid to build an internet service for the German army similar to Elon Musk's Starlink, the Financial Times reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The joint venture would aim to win a multibillion-euro contract to set up a secure satellite communications network for the German army, according to the FT.

--OHB and the German defense ministry and defense procurement agency declined to comment, while Rheinmetall didn't respond to a request for comment.
