Publicis Faces High Expectations in 2026 -- Market Talk

1255 GMT - Publicis Groupe will face high expectations when it issues guidance for 2026 alongside its results next week, Bank of America analysts say in a research note. The French advertising company is typically conservative with its expectations, Bank of America says. The company is expected to provide a similar top-line outlook to 2025, when it guided for organic net revenue growth of 4% to 5% initially, the analysts say. With consensus expectations at 5%, the bar to surprise is high, Bank of America says. Nevertheless, its profitability guidance could lead to a positive surprise, given executives have indicated the company has room to be more efficient, the analysts say. Publicis has a strong balance sheet and investors will want to know what its capital-allocation plans are, they add. Shares fall 2.1%. (adria.calatayud@wsj.com)
