Prudential (SGX:K6S, HKG:2378) bought back 300,151 shares in London on Thursday at an average price of around 12.0514 pounds sterling apiece, according to a Friday bourse filing.
The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares.
Following the repurchase, the firm will have nearly 2.54 billion shares in issue.
