Prudential plc (SGX:K6S, HKG:2378) has confirmed that it satisfied the contractual requirements to complete the acquisition of a further 19% stake in Sri Han Suria, the holding entity that owns Prudential Assurance Malaysia.
The transaction, carried out by Prudential Corp. Holdings, increased Prudential plc's total shareholding in Sri Han Suria to 70%, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
