德意志银行表示，在一份颇具争议的研究报告促使该行首席执行官Christian Sewing致电美国财政部长斯科特·贝森特之后，该行并无计划削弱研究部门的独立性。

　　“管理层在某些问题上的看法与研究人员略有不同，这很正常，”Sewing周四在介绍公司业绩时表示。“这对银行有好处，也对我们的客户有好处。”

　　贝森特上周表示，Sewing向其致电，称不认同该行分析师的一份报告。该报告称，在特朗普就格陵兰问题发出威胁之后，欧洲持有美国资产的意愿可能会下降。德意志银行全球外汇研究主管George Saravelos在该报告中写道，此番美元的再平衡可能会限制对欧元的负面影响。

　　德意志银行在美国拥有庞大业务，上述反应凸显出这一议题的高度敏感性。Saravelos在报告中表示，欧洲是美国最大的出借方，欧洲各国持有约8万亿美元的美国债券和股票，几乎相当于世界其他地区合计持有规模的两倍。

　　Sewing周四拒绝就他与任何政府成员的对话置评。当天早些时候，德银首席财务官James von Moltke表示，德意志银行拥有一支思想独立的优秀分析师团队，提出出色的观点与分析。

　　von Moltke表示：“研究的独立性绝对神圣不可侵犯。有时这会让赞助研究的企业、银行感到尴尬，但这种独立性绝对理所当然。”
