Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS) launched a 3,000-meter reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its British Hill project in Western Australia's Southern Goldfields, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The project is positioned for near-term production with pre-existing baseline surveys, approvals, and early works completed, per the filing.
Preliminary technical reviews support a low-cost open pit mining scenario, with the drilling program designed to provide grade control for future mining, the filing said.
Kalgoorlie-based VM Drilling will carry out RC drilling as part of a 90,000-meter 2026 program, with payment for the first six months accepted in fully paid ordinary shares, the filing added.
